Rotary Club of Naga Honors MNWD
The Metropolitan Naga Water District (MNWD) was duly recognized at the 70th Anniversary Celebration of the Rotary Club of Naga last March 17, 2018 at the Avenue Plaza Hotel, Naga City.
The award was given to MNWD in gratitude for its continued partnership, commitment, and valuable contribution to helping others uplift the communitiesand demonstrating exemplary humanitarian services consistent with Rotary’s ideals of Service Above Self.
The Rotary Club of Naga and MNWD have long been partners in the community development programs relative to the Integrated Watershed Development Project (IWDP) of the Mount Isarog Natural Park (MINP) hence, the creation of the Rotary Village Corps (RVC). The RVC residents are the primary stakeholders and partners of the MNWD in the preservation of the watersheds within the MINP.
Having the Rotary Club of Naga as one of thepioneering partners augmented the strength of theMNWD in the pursuit of water sustainability. And we are very fortunate that through this partnership made more solid over the years, we are able to provide better services and create more projects for the benefit of the entire community we serve.
