Oath Taking of 50 Permanent MNWD Employees
On February 15, 2018, the Metropolitan Naga Water District (MNWD) conducted an Oath Taking ceremony of 50 permanent employees at the district’s Function Hall. It was an unprecedented event — a record breaker, considering the number of employees registered for promotion, new appointments, and re-assignment of positions.
The employees were honored and applauded by the MNWD Management comprised of all Division Heads and Acting General Manager Virginia I. Nero.
Excitement and gratification of those who took oath filled the hall as they were congratulated and acknowledged individually by the Management for their unwavering commitment and loyalty to MNWD; all for the noble cause of public service.
The group is definitely a squad to reckon with not only for the number of employees upgraded with permanent positions but most especially for their tenure in service with 31 years being the longest, persistence to withstand hurdles, and passion to deliver excellence.
Indeed, it was a perfect time to celebrate the love month for the MNWD family. The District together with the 50 permanent employees exalted in this momentous occasion.
As we move forward, may we maintain the same ardor to seek for learning and development, reciprocate the love, and maintain humility as we continue to exemplify the District’s core values: Honesty, Excellence, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork. (Auria S. Gonzales)
