MNWD’s Water Conservation Awareness Campaign
In line with the Metropolitan Naga Water District’s Water Conservation Awareness campaign, a Water Conservation Seminar were conducted on various schools namely: Sabang Elementary School on July 7, 2017, Tinago National High School on July 12, 2017 and Camarines Sur National High School on July 21, 2017 respectively.
The said Water Conservation Seminar aims to teach children at an early age about the importance of water conservation. A One (1) hour talk and video clips about why we should conserve water and how to conserve it through simple water saving tips help the children understand the message of the said activity.
Moreover, flyers with water saving tips and MNWD Hotlines were also distributed to the students and their respective Advisers to encourage them to be active partners of MNWD in water conservation, to be more aware of their surroundings, and report any problem concerning water loss like broken pipes or any incident concerning MNWD.
