MNWD sets up hydration station for Peñafrancia Fiesta
As an offering to our beloved Ina nin Bicolandia Our Lady of Penafrancia and as part of its continuous effort to give only excellent service to the public it serves, the Metropolitan Naga Water District (MNWD) once again will be setting up a free water bottle filling and drinking station for devotees, pilgrims, and guests who are expected to arrive in Naga City this September.
The hydration station will be situated at the west side of the Naga Metropolitan Cathedral, near the Holy Rosary Minor Seminary. It will be open from 8 am to 5 pm from September 8-16.
Like in the past years, the water district again prepared a full contingency plan for this year’s fiesta celebration when water will be more in demand due to the influx of devotees and guests.
Personnel to respond to any problem that may occur during this time have been scheduled 24/7. The MNWD made sure that everything is covered, from its stand by plumbers to its pressure management team, pumping station operators, drivers of lorry trucks, supplies, and to its Communication Center which is open 24/7 as well.
Furthermore, the public is requested to store water during times when water pressure is high, usually at night, for assurance of supply if and when water pressure is low.
The water district’s contact numbers are the following: 473-7813, 472-1685, 473-2040, 473-8438, Smart 0919 648 6365, & Globe 0927 463 1859. From the Management and staff of your water district, Happy Fiesta Bicolandia! Viva la Virgen!
