MNWD Receives Commendations
The Metropolitan Naga Water District (MNWD) received the Certificate of Commendation from Tinago National High School headed by Ms. Lourdes G. Cervantes and Tinago Central School headed by Dr. Noel A. Ballares last April 2 and 6, 2018, respectively.
The recognition was given to MNWD for its invaluable support as a community partner in the effective implementation of school initiatives for the academic year 2017-2018. Both schools are active stakeholders of MNWD and beneficiaries of the Brigada Eskwela 2017 project.
Also worth to note is the collaborative work shared by both parties during the 2018 Palarong Bicol as these schools were billeting centers that accommodated about 700 delegates from Camarines Norte. The MNWD ensured that these schools had sufficient clean water supply throughout the said event.
Meanwhile, the MNWD was invited to attend the Recognition Rites at the Rotary Village Elementary School together with the Rotary Club-Naga East representative last April 2, 2018.
On behalf of the MNWD, Ms. Maide D. Sison OIC of Public Relations and External Affairs Section (PREAS) attended the ceremony and gave a short message in front of the guests, achievers, parents, and faculty headed by Ms. Lorna B. MiƱa.
The MNWD always believes in the culture of collaboration. Building good relationship with various agencies increases visibility and output, thus, creating a better community. (Auria S. Gonzales)
