Under the leadership of Acting General Manager Virgilio B. Luansing I, the Metropolitan Naga Water District’s (MNWD’s) Seal of Excellence was officially launched during the annual Team Building activity held at Macagang Resorts and Hotel, Nabua, Camarines Sur last June 2, 2018.

The seal was designed primarily to reinforce Excellence in MNWD’s daily conduct of its water supply services towards nature protection and water resources conservation. Also, the launching constitutes a complementary approach to augment work productivity and instill quality output in every undertaking of the water district.

In his speech, AGM Luansing I emphasized the value of excellence in the workplace and its contribution to the overall success of the organization. He said “Always strive for quality. Good is not enough. See to it that you exceed expectations and raise the bar of excellence. By wearing the Seal of Excellence, you carry the mission and vision of the District. Maintain a high degree of perseverance and this will open doors to self-mastery and excellence.”

Indeed, the MNWD has gone a long way. The many years of hard work and commitment exhibited by the people behind the water district including its pioneers solidified MNWD’s foundation in the water industry.

The Seal of Excellence is a reminder to all of us of our oath as a public servant to make the best of our potentials and continue being agents of change amidst the challenging times. (Auria S. Gonzales)
