Free Blood Pressure Reading in MNWD
Title: Free Blood Pressure Reading in MNWD
The Metro Naga Water District’s (MNWD) Breastfeeding and Infirmary Clinic staff offers free Blood Pressure (BP) reading to customers who would like to know their blood pressure. They are stationed at the customer’s lobby from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm every Wednesday.
This initiative to provide additional service is a gesture of appreciation for our valued customers for them to be aware of their health especially that hypertension is known to be one of the main causes of deaths and disabilities in the Philippines today.
Free blood pressure reading is not limited to this schedule given for customers, BP reading is available everyday within the 5-day work week, from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Employees can just visit the said Breastfeeding and Infirmary located near the Commercial Services Department’s Billing Room.
The Clinic is available for nursing mothers and its staff also cares for and assists customers who need immediate medical attention.
Aside from the BP reading and other services, other safety and wellness programs for employees are being implemented. One is the Zumba Dance sessions scheduled every Wednesday from 4:00pm to 5:00pm at the MNWD Function Hall.
The clinic is maintained and managed by our professional Registered Nurses headed by Ms. June Agatha Borja.
There’s nothing more important than our good health – that’s our principal capital asset. – Arlen Specter
