SOCOTEC Certification Philippines, Inc. (formerly AJA Registrars Inc.) announced on January 6, 2020, that the Metropolitan Naga Water District (MNWD) has been awarded a Certificate of Registration to ISO 9001:2015 in all its business processes including the provision of services on Water Resources Development, Water Supply and Distribution. This is an extension to the certification earned last 2018 for the Customer Service processes.

This announcement entitles MNWD to state that the agency is fully certified to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems, use the SOCOTEC Certification Quality Management System mark on the company literature, and display of the certificate of registration in the office premises.

ISO 9001:2015 is a globally recognized quality management standard developed and published by the International Organization of Standardization (ISO). ISO developed this standard to help organizations improve the delivery of products and services to meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and ultimately to positively impact customer satisfaction.

It can be recalled on October 23 – 24, 2019, the SOCOTEC auditors visited MNWD for the Annual Surveillance Audit of the Commercial Services Department (CSD) and Extension of Scope to all of MNWD’s business processes.

Meanwhile, SOCOTEC Certification International (SC Philippines) – a leading provider of accredited ISO certification service – has been providing management systems assessment and worldwide since 1995.

MNWD’s General Manager Virgilio B. Luansing I extends his gratitude to the entire MNWD community for their support and participation. It was a rigorous and in-depth process that require a collective effort and effective implementation of policies and procedures.
