MNWD Urges the Public to Save Water for the Peñafrancia Fiesta

The Metropolitan Naga Water District (MNWD) appeals to the public to conserve water to cushion the aftermath of El Niño and in anticipation for the massive influx of guests, tourists, media professionals, public figures, devotees, and pilgrims in the city of Naga for the Peñafrancia Fiesta this September 13 to 22, 2019.

Knowing the importance of water in our lives, it is imperative that we help each other and ensure its responsible use to maintain water sustainability.

Meanwhile, in the celebration of the feast of Our Lady of Peñafrancia 2019, MNWD will set-up drinking stations for the whole duration of the event at the Peñafrancia Church, Cathedral Church, and Basilica Minore. Another station will be set-up at the Archbishop Residence in partnership with the Rotary Club of Naga during the Traslacion Procession on September 13, 2019.

Likewise, in partnership with the Land Transportation Office (LTO) Naga City District Office, four drinking stations will be placed in various locations: Crossing Mabulo – Milaor By Pass Road, Mabulo Road near Mabulo Reservoir, Del Rosario – Almeda Intersection, and Bagumbayan Norte – Canaman Intersection as part of the Oplan Ligtas Na Biyahe: Viva La Virgen 2019.

Further, the MNWD would like to announce the following schedules of our Office Collection. Please be guided accordingly:
